January 2023 Update on Covid Precautions at the Center

Covid-19 Protocol

Dhamma Kuñja is making every effort to offer safe Vipassana courses while Covid continues to circulate in the population.

Starting May 3rd, 2023:

Covid Vaccination is no longer required. All participants are required to take a rapid antigen test for Covid on arrival at the Center. Anyone with symptoms of illness, a positive Covid test, or exposure to Covid within the past 10 days will be asked to stay home.

Before May 3rd, 2023:

All students, servers, teachers, and staff are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid, including one booster within the past 6 months. Proof of vaccination must be uploaded during the online registration process.

For all courses, the following points are required for attendance:

  1. Take a rapid antigen test on arrival at the Center. Everyone will be asked to take another rapid antigen test 3 days after arrival. Bring three additional rapid antigen tests to take during the course.
  2. N95 or KN95 or the equivalent must be worn at all times indoors, including in the Meditation Hall, Pagoda hallways, and whenever NOT seated for meals in the dining halls. Masks are not required inside your private room, inside a Pagoda cell, while eating or drinking, or outdoors. Please bring an adequate supply of masks.
  3. If you carpool to the Center, we require that everyone in the car wears a mask.
